Immersive Sessions   

 These sessions are designed for clients seeking to immerse themselves in the therapeutic process of healing and evolving the self. Session are structured around the individual needs of the client, their desired outcomes and may contain trauma focused intervention, somatic psychotherapy, body work, mindfulness, meditation and attachement work. These sessions are for those clients willing and open to immerse in the therapeutic process of healing and will include 2x 100 minute sessions over 4 hours at $500 .   

Please note Medicare does not support this counselling fee. Appointments are charged upfront, if you cancel your appointment and require a refund, there will be a $10 processing fee. Any cancellations or no-shows on the day of the scheduled appointment, shall not be eligible for a refund. For private health coverage, we advise you to speak to your provider as this varies between funds.

The Privacy and Confidentiality Policies outlines the privacy and confidentiality policies of the Counsellor (Michelle Fitzgerald). Please be assured that your privacy and confidentiality is of the highest priority and will only be altered  as outlined in the policies below. Your intake information is confidential and accessed only by Michelle Fitzgerald. 

Your digital copy of your file will be stored and securely encrypted in cloud storage and can only be accessed by Michelle Fitzgerald. 

You are entitled to see the information that is kept by Michelle Fitzgerald about you. You also have a right to a copy of that material, however Michelle Fitzgerald has the right to deny access to some or all of your material in your file should access be deemed a serious threat to the life or health of yourself or another person.  

The following points summarise the privacy and confidentiality that will be followed by your therapist (Michelle Fitzgerald). The Privacy Amendment Act 2000 requires these procedures. Please read the following carefully and if you have any concerns please discuss with your counsellor before you sign the agreement form. 

Confidentiality 

The nature and content of your discussions with your therapist are strictly confidential. 

Your counsellor can only speak to someone else about you or let somebody else know that you are here if they have your written permission. There are some exceptions to this, of which you need to be aware: 

• If you disclose to you therapist information regarding the ongoing abuse of a child, this information may need to be passed on to the appropriate authorities.
• If your therapist (Michelle Fitzgerald) has reason to believe that you may be in danger of physically hurting either yourself or another person, then other people such as family members, friends or emergency services may need to be notified in order to protect you and others.
• If legal proceedings are taken out either against the counsellor or yourself relating to your situation, then your file may be subpoenaed by a court of law. Michelle Fitzgerald will not release any files unless subpoenaed and will inform you of any action taken.
• Michelle Fitzgerald may discuss your case with her supervisor if she deems it required, this would be done with utmost respect to you and your case.
